No passado dia 4 de Fevereiro, o canal Vh1 transmitiu um programa em que mostrava os videoclipes das 100 melhores músicas dos anos 80: 100 Greatest songs of the 80s.
Destaque para Bon Jovi que arrecadou o primeiro lugar com a música "Livin' on a Prayer", e Michael Jackson e Cindy Lauper, pois foram os únicos artistas a conseguir que duas das suas músicas estivessem presentes no top 25. Michael Jackson, com "Billie Jean" e "Beat It", consegue o 4º e o 21º lugares, respectivamente. Já Cindy Lauper, com as músicas "Time After Time" e "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", alcança o 19º e o 23º lugares da tabela.
